About Dr. Josh

Doc
Joshua A. Brink, D.D.S.has been a part of the dental community since 1997, and he feels that “Treating children is the best possible opportunity in dentistry. Working with kids—who will say anything—creates a joyful and refreshing experience, and it allows us to develop life-long relationships with multiple generations in the family. Families are the core of our society, and we are privileged to be a part.”

Dr. Josh spent his high school days at Evangelical Christian School. In preparation for his future as a pediatric dentist, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, where he majored in business and economics with an emphasis in health care professions. Upon graduation from the University of Tennessee at Memphis Dental School, Dr. Josh was awarded with the Pediatric Dentistry Award and the Fixed Prosthodontic Award.

Other qualifications include a certificate of residency from UT Memphis to specialize in pediatric dentistry, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, and conscious sedation certification (for the use of oral sedation for our apprehensive patients). Furthermore, Dr. Josh has operating room privileges at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center and LeBonheur East Surgery Center to offer outpatient general anesthesia as an option for our needy patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Memphis Dental Society, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Dr. Josh and his wife, Lissa, have three young children: Aaron, Noelle, and Susanna. They are active members of Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church, and Dr. Josh also participates in discipleship training at Downline Institute. In his spare time, Dr. Josh enjoys working in the yard, gardening, exercising at the gym, running, snow skiing, traveling, and reading biographies and theology.
